Kong: Skull Island is a movie about an expedition team consisting of soldiers, scientists and adventurers to explore a mythical, uncharted island in the Pacific Ocean. The island is found through their advance technology, and the island is in a shape of a skull. The team cuts through the stormy surface and enter the domain of the mighty Kong igniting the war between man and nature.  As their mission of discovery soon becomes the mission of staying alive, they must fight to escape from a primal world where humanity does not belong.

The movie had a lot of surprises since it was my first time seeing King Kong on the big screen. Kong: Skull Island was surprisingly good with so much suspense and action. As the movie progresses, it explains to us why Kong does what he does. Kong turns out to be a peaceful giant who just doesn’t like people in his territory, and it also turns out that Kong was the last of his species due to these things called the Skull Crushers. There are many other giants in the island. Apparently, they’re the ancient races of the current animals around the world.

Altogether, this movie is awesome and full of suspense. “The movie was amazing.” said Freshmen Max Tony. I would recommend this movie to people who are into sci-fi or those who wants to see Kong on the big screens again.
