SCA stands for Student Council Association and we have new freshmen officers that join yearly.  In SCA, class officers and club presidents are considered the voice of the students.  Each class has students to represent their class. Class officers are kept all four years of high school, yet the SCA club presidents, vice-presidents, secretaries, and treasurers change each year.  Class meetings are every other Wednesday, so there are two meetings a month.  Homecoming is the next big event for SCA in the next couple of weeks. The officers and representatives are in charge of important events such as the blood drive, Mr. and Mrs. GHS in Spring, the talent show, and the under-classmen’s awards ceremony. When asked about how he is enjoying his first year in charge of SCA, Mr. Calfee stated, “So far I am learning a lot from Mrs. Mullins.”
