Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year and finding the perfect movie to watch during the holiday is crucial. There are all kinds of things to watch from a classic, to a something new, or even a cartoon, the possibilities are endless. From The Polar Express to Elf, here are the top five favorite Christmas movies.

  1. The Polar Express (2004)
  2. Elf (2003)
  3. Home Alone (1990)
  4. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989)
  5. The Santa Clause (1994)

“My all-time favorite Christmas movie is The Polar Express. I love the part when the waiters start tap dancing and singing on the train” said Sophomore Ally Gauger.

After interviewing 20 people including, students, friends, random citizens, 30% said that The Polar Express was their favorite Christmas movie, 25% said Elf, 20% said Home Alone, 15% said National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, and 10% said The Santa Clause.
