Saturday, December 2, was a big day for the wrestling team here at Graham. Wrestlers made their way to Carroll County With 11 different teams, the competition was hard to beat, but they, of course, still exceeded overall. The team finished in second place.  There were also several individual winners:
● First: Caleb Fritz, Justin Fritz, and Tracy Hagerman
● Second: Jacob Brooks, Jacob Dolin, Mason Raley, and Trey Wimmer
● Third: Harley Jennings
Jacob Dolin, a freshman who won 2nd, said, “I’m really proud of our whole team. This shows when you work together as a team you are always winners. It’s nice to be able to enjoy the company of my friends while competing. I’ve been wrestling for nearly ten years, so it has always meant so much to me, and to have known many other wrestlers for many years makes them feel as if they are a part of my family. With one point away from beating Grayson, it was a let down. We always do great every year though and this year wasn’t any different.”
The home tournament for December the 9th was cancelled due to an impending snowstorm.
Now, the next tournament is on December 15th and 16th at the Bobby Bates Classic at UVA-
Wise.
