Graham High has some of the best students in Tazewell County, but each month two students are picked for being the two best.

The character trait for the month of October was responsibly, and the two GHS students that demonstrated this trait best were Laurel Romano and Tanner Pensula, who are seniors. Tanner says a few of the things that he does that makes him student of the month are that he tries to be nice to everyone and shake everyone’s hand as he comes into the school in the morning. Laurel says, “Whenever I saw somebody needing help, I helped out there.”

The trait for November was citizenship; the two G-Men that best demonstrated this trait were Junior Milan Brewster and Senior Mason West. Milan says that to her citizenship is, “Always being on time, doing the work that you are supposed to do, and helping others.” Mason says that the reason he was awarded the title of student is the month is because he tries to be involved in a lot of things in the community and in the school.

The students of GHS continue to demonstrate manners and good character traits, in all situations.
