Alyssa Asbury revives her letter as a new inductee of Beta Club.

On April 11, 2018, students were inducted into the Beta club. The Beta Club recognizes student’s academic progress and achievement. Beta is a nationally recognized honor society. Students have to work very hard to become a member of Beta; they have to have a 3.5 GPA.

New member and sophomore Hannah Shockley says, “I’m very honored to be accepted into the Beta club. I think that this is a great accomplishment, and I look forward to not only helping my classmates, but also my community.”  Another new member of Beta was sophomore Grace Beaman, “It feels great that I’m getting recognized for my achievements. I’m glad more doors for college will open up for me. I hope to help better my community and future.”

This club is an very high honor for students. Graham’s Beta Club sponsors are Mrs.McAvoy and Mrs. Hurley. Mrs. McAvoy stated that it looks great on college applications. Beta club is also a service organization, and volunteers with in the community, this helps with getting scholarships.
