Hannah Overstreet, Miss GHS nominee for Book Club, said, “I was really ecstatic when I found out I was going to be a candidate.  I felt pure joy when I was walking across the gym. I never thought that this could be possible; it’s something I’ve wanted since I was a freshmen.  I think Jacob and I are great representatives for Book Club.”

“I feel honored to be looked up to.  It just gives you a special feeling. This is just my second year at Graham and my first year in DECA, so I thought it was awesome that the students wanted to me to represent our club.  I think I’m one of the many leaders in DECA. Mrs. Shoemaker urges me last year to join Deca, but when I saw Sam make it to nationals, I was inspired.” Jayden Hearn, DECA nominee, said.

Interact Club candidate Jared Williams said, “To know younger students in my club see me as a role model is what really means the most to me.  I’m the Vice President in Interact and I like to make a difference. I’ve been in Interact for four years but it wasn’t until last year that I realized I could be a possible candidate.”

On January 25 at the boys varsity game, Alexis Rhudy from BETA Club won Miss GHS and Jonathan Oster from Pep Club won Mr. GHS. Congratulations to these students for representing their clubs and school with pride!
