Walker, Texas Ranger jumps for new life as Walker

“Walker” was released on January 1, 2021, and it follows the adventures of Cordell Walker, a widower and a father of two teenager, who has his own moral code. He returns home to Austin, Texas, after being under cover for two years, only to discover there’s harder work to be done at home. He must attempt to reconnect with his creative and thoughtful teenage son and his headstrong, somewhat rebellious teenage daughter and navigate clashes with his family. Walker finds unexpected common ground with his new partner while growing increasingly suspicious about the circumstances surrounding his wife’s death.

I find it weird that Jared Padalecki, who portrays Walker, is acting in a different TV show after 15 years of him acting in “Supernatural.” I’m so used to him acting in “Supernatural” as Sam Winchester that I can not see him as anybody else. Seeing him acting in Walker gave some flashbacks to when he was acting in “Supernatural,” but I can not wait to see him act and how he changes in the rest of the show. I think people who watch “Supernatural” would love to watch “Walker” because it has some of the same actors in the show as “Supernatural.” Also, “Walker” has some of the same action and drama as “Supernatural.”

I found it odd that “Walker’s” first episode was almost the same as “Supernatural’s” first episode. Both “Supernatural” and “Walker” have someone being murdered, and he is trying to figure out who did it. They should add some believable cast members to “Walker” to make things more realistic. “Walker’s” producer, Anna Fricke, needs to do more research on drug trafficking in Austin, Texas, and how teenagers actually act nowadays. The producer needs to do more research on how animals behave in certain situations. That improving these things will improve the quality of the show.

I would give this show four stars because I like more action and mystery in my shows I watch. I would probably give it more stars when there are more episodes. I would recommend this show to anyone who likes to watch action or mystery shows.
