GHS Press

Tessa Koen
Tessa Koen is a sophomore, and this is her first year as part of GHS Press. Tessa decided to take journalism because she enjoys writing.

Some of Tessa’s interests include watching Netflix, reading, and writing. She also enjoys theater because of the diversity. She writes fan-fictions based off of some of her favorite shows, Supernatural and The Society.

One of her guilty pleasures is drinking pickle juice, and sometimes she even likes to eat a hamburger without the bun!

Her unpopular opinion is that Tom Holland should be hyped up more. “He has other movies besides Spider-Man that are just as good.” If Tessa could spend a day with any famous person, she would choose Tom Holland.

Tessa’s favorite type of music is alternative, such as Palaye Royale and Billie Eilish. She likes alternative music because the lyrics have a deeper meaning.

A pet peeve of hers is when people interrupt her and when people “don’t care.” Her least favorite food is sauerkraut because of the smell. Her favorite food is potato soup because of the combination of the ingredients.
